Jessica Stults, LICSW

Therapy can be scary, hard, and uncomfortable, but it can also be thrilling and even sometimes fun. Like physical exercise, it might make you sore while new muscle grows, but it shouldn’t hurt. My job is to make sure our work goes at a pace that feels helpful and safe.

About

Most of my work as a therapist has been with trauma, especially with adult survivors of childhood abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and sexual assault. I've worked with people hurt by homelessness, addictions, sexual exploitation, incarceration, immigration issues, and harm/exclusion based on race, class, gender, sexuality, disability, and other identities. I love working with people who maybe haven't tried therapy before and are just now thinking it might be helpful to them.
